[wear] between me and you
In between me and you, I share stories of some clothes I can’t give away or get rid of. Some are vintage, some are hand-me-downs or clothes I’ve ‘borrowed and not given back’, and others are repaired to last longer. All are special (to me). They are much more than they appear; they have personal significance.
As we headed into technical rehearsals, costume designer (for between me and you), dancer, and friend Sarah Doucet, looked at me with a twinkling eye and said: WHAT IF….?!?!.
The rest is history.
These articles are one-of-a-kind hand-painted by Sarah. They are nearly new. They carry histories we don’t know - like each of us. They could carry a part of your story.
We are selling them here not because we want a store, or because we’re interested in branding. We’re selling them to support between me and you (past and future), to keep memories alive, to honour the uniqueness of each garment, and each of us.
We hope you will support this initiative.
